An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Lecturer in Childcare and Education to join our Childcare and Education team. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the next generation of Childcare and Education professionals while playing a key role in a thriving academic community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Lecturer in Childcare and Education, you will:
- Deliver and manage high-quality, inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment within the Childcare and Education sector.
- Provide hands-on and theoretical instruction in specific areas, e.g., Childcare and Education
- Support students' academic and personal growth, helping them achieve their full potential.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that connect classroom learning to real-world applications.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and address the needs of all students.
- Support student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression, providing guidance and tailored support.
What We’re Looking For:
We seek candidates who:
- Hold a minimum Level 3 Childcare and Early Years qualification or a relevant Degree, and GCSEs in English and Maths.
- Are qualified teachers; or are willing to work towards the qualification*
- Have current knowledge and experience in teaching Childcare and Early Years.
- Demonstrate effective classroom management, excellent time management, and strong communication skills.
- Are proficient in preparing teaching materials using Information Learning Technology.
