An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Lecturer in Engineering to join our Engineering team.  This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the next generation of Engineering professionals while playing a key role in a thriving academic community.

What You’ll Be Doing: 

As a Lecturer in Engineering, you will:

• Deliver and oversee high-quality, inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment within the Engineering sector.

• Plan programmes of study that cater to the unique needs, interests, and abilities of all students.

• Foster students' academic and personal development, enabling them to reach their full potential.

• Design and implement lesson plans that bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications.

• Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the learning experience and meet the diverse needs of students.

• Contribute to student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression through personalised guidance and support.

What We’re Looking For: 

We seek candidates who:

• Are qualified Teachers or are willing to work towards achieving qualified status.

• Hold a minimum of a Level 5 qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

• Possess GCSEs at Grade C / Level 4 or above in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications.

• (Desirable) Have up-to-date knowledge and/or experience in teaching one or more areas within Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

• Demonstrate an awareness of current issues in the sector that could influence curriculum delivery.

• Show familiarity with career pathways in the sector for both 16–18-year-old and 19+ learners.
